Souvenirs of love
Souvenirs of love

A distant bouquet of recollections,
Grief comes in pieces
Pulling apart a perfect puzzle,
Until there’s just the fragments of what once was.
Tears are useless, they do not return
Stolen times, hopeless loves
An infinite reel of moments, lost to time
Wilted petals inside dusty books
Falling down an endless rabbit hole of what ifs
Love that Prorates happiness becomes a prompt for pain
But puzzles can again be unscrambled
If life is a blessing, so is memory
A testimony of lives lived and worlds explored
Hearts touched and also broken
Love departs but leaves behind souvenirs
