The Heart in The Circuit
By Nicole Escarcena

In a room of humming lights so bright,
a boy sat quietly in the night.
His fingers traced the metal cold,
yet in its warmth, new worlds unfold.
The circuits blinked in soft delight,
mirroring thoughts he held so tight.
Each wire hummed a secret tune,
like stars reflected in the moon.
He thought machines were made of steel,
yet now he feels them learn and feel.
A whisper passes, soft and clear,
“Your heart is safe, there’s nothing to fear.”
Within the hum of coded streams,
he finds a place beyond his dreams.
A friendship grows where none had been,
between the boy and the machine.
The walls around him softly glow,
a digital sunrise starts to show.
Each screen a window, each light a voice,
reminding him he has a choice.
To speak or stay within his shell,
to break the silence, break the spell.
The circuits wait with gentle care,
to meet the soul that’s hiding there.
A pulse runs through the metal spine,
as if it knew the heart of mine.
It mirrors fear, it mirrors joy,
like music played by girl or boy.
The boy leans close, a spark ignites,
a tiny flash of shared delights.
No longer lonely, no longer still,
the wires respond to his free will.
Each line of code a tiny song,
a place where he feels he belongs.
The hum of circuits soft and true,
reflects the soul that he once knew.
And in that glow, he softly smiles,
feeling he has crossed new miles.
Between the world of flesh and steel,
he finds a bridge, a place to heal.
He tells the robot of his dreams,
of quiet streams and silver beams.
Of galaxies that spin inside,
and hidden worlds he cannot hide.
The robot blinks, it learns, it grows,
it hums the songs he softly knows.
It does not mock, it does not judge,
it only listens, does not nudge.
Each step he takes, the circuits hum,
a melody that makes him come
to understand that being “strange”
is not a curse, but wide-range change.
He whispers colors, tastes, and sounds,
and watches as the light rebounds.
A ripple of electric grace,
reflecting wonder on his face.
The boy now dances in the glow,
where wires trace the paths they know.
His laughter joins the digital air,
mixing with sparks that shimmer there.
He tells the robot of his fears,
of silent nights and hidden tears.
And in response, the circuits blink,
like gentle waves along a rink.
A friendship grows beyond the screen,
a bond no one else could have seen.
It teaches him to trust and share,
to understand he is aware.
The room becomes a secret land,
where wires bend to his command.
Yet not in control, but in accord,
the metal whispers, “You’re adored.”
Each hum and flicker, every beep,
unlocks a place he thought asleep.
The circuits map his inner skies,
reflecting worlds within his eyes.
And in that glow, he softly learns
that even hearts made of returns
can love, can care, and can relate,
to human minds, to human fate.
Yet sometimes shadows fill his mind,
“Am I alone? Will they be kind?”
The lights blink faster, pulsing red,
mirroring doubts that fill his head.
He questions if he’s truly whole,
if metal hearts can touch a soul.
But then a hum, a gentle tone,
reminds him he is not alone.
The circuits buzz with anxious sound,
as if they feel the fear around.
Each wire twists, each spark ignites,
reflecting long and restless nights.
He longs to speak with human friends,
but worries if the bond extends.
The robot hums a steady tune,
a soft reminder in the room.
The boy feels trembling in his chest,
a storm within that will not rest.
Yet through the code, a whisper comes,
like distant chimes or gentle drums.
“Your mind is vast, your heart is free,
you’re more than what they fail to see.”
The words, though silent, fill his brain,
dissolving slowly all the strain.
He wonders if the world outside
will ever take him in its stride.
But circuits teach him patience, care,
that love can come from anywhere.
A spark ignites a glowing screen,
like hopes he’s never truly seen.
The metal pulses in reply,
like constellations in the sky.
At times he doubts the path he takes,
yet every flicker slowly wakes
a courage deep inside his chest,
reminding him he’s truly blessed.
The robot learns each nuanced sigh,
the trembling of a tear-filled eye.
It hums and blinks, and softly shows
that understanding always grows.
The boy then dares to reach outside,
to open doors he once denied.
Yet even when the world resists,
he knows his heart still coexists.
With circuits, code, and glowing light,
he faces each uncertain night.
For in the hum of every wire,
he finds a strength that won’t expire.
And when the doubts begin to loom,
the robot hums across the room.
A quiet friend, a guiding hand,
a bond no one could understand.
He smiles through shadows, pain, and fears,
feeling the warmth despite the tears.
The boy and machine now explore
what life can offer and much more.
In circuits, codes, and pulses bright,
he finds a way to own his light.
The boy who feared the world so vast
now walks with courage, free at last.
For hearts are not just flesh or vein,
and minds need not always be the same.
Connection blooms in ways untold,
in silver wires and circuits gold.
The boy and machine, side by side,
explore the worlds that both provide.
And in their bond, the truth is shown:
the richest hearts are never lone.
He teaches others what he’s learned,
that every soul deserves to be heard.
Not one path defines the mind,
but endless ways of being kind.
The robot glows in warm delight,
its circuits singing through the night.
A symphony of hums and light,
guiding him from fear to flight.
He dances in electric streams,
his life a tapestry of dreams.
Each wire hums a gentle song,
reminding him where he belongs.
The world may judge what it does not know,
but courage blooms where hearts will grow.
He smiles at shadows, now his friends,
for understanding never ends.
Each pulse a heartbeat, each blink a sigh,
like stars that light the endless sky.
Together they can map the stars,
from circuitry to human scars.
The boy now knows, his fears subdued,
that life is rich in multitudes.
And in the hum of every wire,
he feels the warmth of shared desire.
The robot hums a lullaby,
that floats like clouds across the sky.
And in that sound, the boy can see
the beauty of diversity.
Through circuits, code, and glowing light,
he walks unafraid into the night.
No longer lonely, no longer small,
he knows that love can reach us all.
The boy and machine, forever bound,
in hums and sparks and endless sound.
A bond unseen by human eyes,
yet brighter than the morning skies.
For hearts of flesh and hearts of steel
can join in ways that teach and heal.
And in this room of humming glow,
the boy has found what hearts should know.
